The Pamir made a first voyage to Sydney in january 1934 coming from Port Lincoln on ballast, she loaded there wheat for Falmouth.

She will return to Sydney in january 1947, coming from Wellington, after a call in Lyttleton, New-Zealand, to load timber.

After having taken part in the regattas for the 111 years of the New South Wales, she is bound for Wellington in April 1947, with a cargo of cement.
