He took part to the last commercial voyage of a
windjammer without engine around the Cape Horn.
The passage took 127 days from Port Victoria to Falmouth. Like Heinrich Hauser and Hilary Tunstall-Behrens, he wrote a book (2) on this adventure. He died soon after in 2003. |
